Entrelac Hat for an Infant

Here's my first finished entrelac attempt:

Free Image Hosting

This was my unofficial entry into the knitting olympics. It only took me about 3 days of work to make, so it didn't exactly take me the whole time. I think it's actually a more fitting entry than those that took the whole 2 weeks because most events only last a few days in the actual olympics. So, this is like the equivalent of a one-day event... freestyle snowboarding, say.

The best part of this hat is that it was made from FREE yarn! Nice, hand-painted yarn, too. The colors just pop in real life. Hopefully the recipient's parents will like it. Now I have to send it off before the baby grows too big to wear it!

I'm not kidding, you need to sell these things, especially that hobo bag.You could do that in canvas with colored piping or faux suede or something.

I love the knitting, too--that chartreuse patch is great looking.
